This high speed Formula 1 race car game is due out in September 2011 and from the looks of it, the game should be a sure fire hit no doubt. F1 2011 would have certainly made it into our Top 10 PC racing games, and we cant wait to see if the new version will outperform F1 2010

The developer is Codemasters Birmingham and is published by Codemasters.  The game utilizes their EGO Engine 2.0 and is developed for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.  Actually the PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS won’t get the game until later so keep an eye out for updates.

The game is basically the next in line to the series and has it’s roots in the 2011 Formula One racing season. This way you’ll get all the latest designs, tricks, celebrity updates so it feels like you’re right there in the real Formula One racing world.

Graphics on the PC game are great, it’s all about the machines and track though. It has full pit crews in the paddocks and more. All your favorite 2011 teams, all 12 of them and drivers are featured as well as the primary 19 circuits.  That means there’s no way you can ever get tired of playing this game and testing your racing skills. You’ll need a serious GPU setup to get the full potential out of F11 as its DX11 based. Assuming you have the hardware, the graphics will blow you away!

Some new features touted are the Split Screen Mode that many fans have asked for and the Safe Car that the developers wanted to add.  This makes for more realistic gameplay as well as options for more dramatic and exciting viewing and recording. You can really use the statistics and Split Screen Mode to keep tabs on how you perform so that you can improve your skills as well as show off to your friends and team mates.

Considering that the 2010 PC version blew everyone away and got the coveted BAFTA for the Best Sports Game, this upcoming version has a lot to live up to and outside of still having less than optimum skins for the human characters it does live up to and might be a step upward. It all depends however on multiple players feel for the game as some players prize one thing over another. With the addition of the new Buddha International Circuit the challenges should be greater and lead to much fanfare.

The AI of the game appears to be very realistic, more so than other racing games and at times just looking at the action, you forget you’re playing a video game. As the game was in development and even on up to the wire of its release, fans have been pouring in with suggestions the developers have been taking to heart. This is cool because fans can see those little details they love about the sport and while playing the game they want their experience to be as real as possible. They wanted access to areas and interaction with characters that makes them feel like they’re right there in the big leagues.  That’s what this game is supposed to do and keeps getting better.

So to answer all this the developers added the multiplayer option which is going to have fans glued to their systems. The offline and online play is now enhanced with the aforementioned Split Screen Mode so competing drivers can see each other just like during the big time broadcasts on the sports television networks.

Adding to the more community based twist of improvements is the ability to play the entire season with your friend as a team mate! This way if your buddy or brother or sister or girlfriend or whomever you hang with can play with you as though you’re really in the pro season. This should make for more sales of the game and is a very, very smart move. There is so much content regarding the gameplay and options and surprises, it is probably going to be the top contender for games this year among a roster of top games this year. Top 10 PC Games cant wait for F1 2011 to be released. We’re itching with anticipation, and fans are too.
